We believe the Pope is the “Vicar of Christ”. He takes the place of Jesus as the visible head of the Church. As such he has the ability to speak “ex cathedra” (with authority on matters of faith and practice), and when he does so his teachings are considered infallible and binding upon all Christians. We also believe in that sinners can be saved from the hellish ways. Christian must rely on faith plus “meritorious works” in order to be saved.

We are a form of Christianity.
We, unlike other forms of christianity , do not believe that the Bible alone is sufficient. We believe that both the Bible and sacred Roman Catholic tradition are equally binding upon the Christian. Essential to our faith are the seven sacaraments. Baptism, confirmation, the Eucharist, Penance, anointing of the sick, Holy Orders, and matrimony. are key components of our faith . Our faith in Christ is only the beginning of salvation, and that the individual must build upon that with good works because “man has to merit God’s grace of justification and eternal salvation.”

Catholics believe in the Nicene Creed, and therefore believe in one God who exists as three persons. Essentially Catholics believe the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are all God, one in substance and will, but distinct in some way, but not divided...

Blog1- The pope died !! :( We need a new one. This is a pain. When you need to get a new pope there is this whole big procedure called the papal conclave which is talk talk talk and barely any action. We are basically not allowed to leave the church until we have a pope. So basically a bunch of us in a crowded room , sweating like a plumber running a marathon. When i was first elected to be part of the College of Cardnals, I was like woah im part of this very selective group. Do not get me wrong , I am very honored to be part of this group it is just I wish we do more . Well the procedure is about to start . GTG. Later days.
Blog2- There is a break in the session and we are not getting anywhere. In earlier years, papal elections sometimes suffered prolonged deadlocks. To resolve them, authorities often resorted to the forced seclusion of the cardinal electors. This seems to be one of those times. YAY FOR ME!!!! :)(sarcasm). I think people ar getting restless, they have been waiting for God knows how long. And we are running out of food here. I want a pope and all but I would like food even more. Well its about to begin again ttyl. Remember WWJD(What Would Jesus Do).
Blog3-The voting is finally done.Once the election concludes, the junior Cardinal Deacon summons the Secretary of the College of Cardinals and the Master of Papal Liturgical Celebrations into the hall. The Cardinal Dean then asks the Pope-elect if he assents to the election, saying "Do you accept your canonical election as Supreme Pontiff?". The new pope has accepted obviously and I hope he keeps his name. Pope Magee would be the coolest pope name. Well this was exciting and the pope is about to address the crowd i must leave you, this might be interesting. All the best and God Bless.

Whoa--we like God too. Only we're {the Dominicans, cough cough} a tad more into the "give up all of your wealth and live in a state of miserable poverty" kind of deal. You know, since materialism is a sin and we don't like to sin 'cause we like God! Yeah. It's not that we don't like it, but it would be so much easier if people just gave into our demands and returned to the Roman Catholic Church...but what can you do, you know?

Hi. I just wanted to let you and all of your stupid followers know how much I despise you! You Catholics are the absolute epitome of evilness! To see your ornate churches and unfair ways it makes me incredibly sick. In addition to this, your former Pope III was an awful man! Killing so many of my people will not be tolerated. Why can't you just live a life in simple poverty? Is it really that difficult. Soon the Cathars and I will te you and you will be nothing but a bitter memory...!

"Well, we guess that you are not entirely wrong (in your choice of religion)." -- the early Hebrews and the Israelites

You Catholics do have some of the right ideas, but you go about it all wrong. All of your festivals and holiday celebrations are quite frivolous and just insane. Don’t even get me started on how disgusted I am with the Catholic churches’ preoccupation with money. That is just not what Christianity is supposed to be about. And also where do you come off kicking us out of England, our homeland! Anyway I will not say many of the things I would like to say about you Catholics! I do not think many of them would be very proper. Deepest distain -Puritans

You are our official religion!!! We love you so much, that 85% of us practice your teachings, and we have a Cathedral Square in our capital city of Havana. May you always be as awesome as you are now! -Cuba

Thanks for awarding our Charlemagne with the imperial crown. Roman Catholics rock! We are self-appointed protectors of the papacy. It was no problem destroying the Lombards, by the way. - Franks

Thank You for the compliments. There really is no othe religion that would suit our great nation. I mean we are allowed to drink in church. ANY religion that lets us do that is okay with us. I ddon't know what King George was thinking when he tried to switch religions but we would never leave our beloved Catholicism

Sorry about what we did, but it was entirely necessary. As revolutionaries, we needed social change, and the Catholic Church was asomething that needed to be changed in France. You were a repressive and corruptive institution, and the only way we could limit your power was to take away your land and your wealth. This was one of the major accomplishments of our revolution, because you were overly powerful, and were clearly against the revolutionary ideal and more a part of the ancien regime...on second thought, we're not sorry about taking away your power. However, you got the last laugh, I guess, since when our revolution ended you regained your preeminence during Napoleon's rule, and you continued to be powerful and important in France for a long time.
Au revoir, French Revolutionaries

Just wanted to let you know about all of the good works we have been doing in the name of Catholicism. We have wiped out the majority of the native population of the Americas using diseases and harsh labor. Most of the immigrants to Latin America are Catholics and enough of the natives have converted to give Latin America a mainly Catholic population. Who knew you could mix bloody conquest and God's work? -Conquistadors
